Today I have a little post for you, on my review of the new CoverGirl Jumbo Gloss Balm's. I purchased one a few weeks ago while I was out shopping so I thought I would let you know what I think.
I purchased the Jumbo Gloss Balm in colour 235 "Coral Twist", which is just as the name describes it, a bright yet deep coral pink colour - great for the spring and summer.
Packing:
The CoverGirl Jumbo Gloss Blams are very similar in packaging compared to the Revlon Balm Stains. The product is essentially a jumbo crayon which you twist up from the bottom to get more of the product.
First Impressions:
My very first impression of the Jumbo Gloss Blam is that it smells JUST LIKE lipstick. Ugh! The package says "Sheer colour, soft shine", and this product provides just that. It's very smooth on your lips and provides just the right amount of shine without looking like an actual gloss.

Wear Time:
I haven't had a chance to wear this product ALL DAY, but from the times I have worn it it seems to last a significant amount of time but will leave colour on your mugs!
Comparison > CoverGirl Jumbo Gloss Blam vs. Revlon Balm Stain:
I feel that both products are good for different reasons. If you're looking for a stain for your lips I would go with the Revlon Balm Stain, but if you prefer a smoother lip colour with more shine I would definitely recommend the CoverGirl Jumbo Gloss Balm. For colour pay-off I would definitely have to say that the CoverGirl Jumbo Gloss Blam is much more pigmented as you can see in the pictures below.

Final Verdict:
This is definitely a product you should try if you're looking for a new lip colour, I just wish they could get rid of the lipstick smell and use something more fruity or minty. I know that next time I'm out shopping I will have to pick out a couple more colours to try.
Let me know in the comments below what other colours you think I should try out in the Jumbo Gloss Balms, I'm always looking for other peoples suggestions!
Daily Tidbits:
- I CANNOT wait for the OPI Euro Centrale collection to be released in Trade Secrets stores this week :D
- I went into Sephora today to check out the Urban Decay Oz pallets, and I sadly have to say that I was VERY disappointed in them, I went into the store with the intentions of purchasing at least one of the pallets but ended up leaving with none.
- Saddened by the Maple Leafs loss last night against the Bruins, really hoping they win the cup in my lifetime :(
- I've finally made it through the first quarter of my last semester of school ever!
